ROBOT New function: Easy force control using the Collaborative Robot CRX
FANUC has developed and started sales of a force control function for the Collaborative Robot CRX that enables the robot to insert and copy-polish workpieces.
- The function is achieved using only the built-in sensors of the Collaborative Robot CRX series without the help of external force sensors.
- The force control function provides force control over pushing, insertion, phase matching, screw tightening, copying (polishing and deburring), surface matching, setting workpieces on lathes, and other operations.
- The easy-to-understand icon-based UIF and the Manual Guided Teaching, which involves directly moving the robot by hand, enable force control programs to be created easily.
- Once touched, the robot stops safely even during force control.
- All CRX series models (CRX-5iA、CRX-10iA、CRX-10iA/L、CRX-20iA/L、CRX-25iA) support the force control function using their built-in sensors.
- For even more advanced force control, external force sensors can be added to the CRX series.
