Notice Concerning Laser Factory Construction Plan

Fanuc Corporation would like to announce that the company has decided to establish a new laser factory in the company’s Mibu factory (Mibu-machi, Tochigi Prefecture) to enhance production capacity of laser oscillators including fiber lasers.

1. Factory Construction Plan

(1) Total floor area: Approximately 32,000 m²
(2) Completion (plan): August 2017

2. Production Equipment Installation Plan

(1) Production Capacity (at full capacity): 400 units/month
(2) Start of Production (plan): October 2017

3. Investment Amount

Expected to amount to approximately 10 billion yen for building and production equipment (first phase).
