Notice Concerning Land Acquisition for New Factory

FANUC CORPORATION would like to announce that the company has finalized an agreement with the Ibaraki Prefectural Government Public Enterprise Bureau to acquire the prefecture's industrial park to use its land to establish industrial robot factory in the coming future.

   Tsukuba Akeno-hokubu (Tajyuku -chiku) Industrial Park, Chikusei-shi, Ibaraki Prefecture
2. Land area to be acquired:
   Approximately 28.7ha
3. Purchased from:
   Ibaraki Prefectural Government Public Enterprise Bureau
4. Contract conclusion date:
   June 20th, 2016
5. Acquisition schedule:
   The land will be acquired in sequence. (Final land acquisition is scheduled to be completed by March 31st, 2018.)
