Construction of New Factory

FANUC CORPORATION is pleased to announce that the two existing Servo Motor Parts Machining Factories will be combined, and a new Servo Motor Parts Machining Factory will be built in their place. This will enable servo motor parts to be machined more efficiently as well as increasing in-house production.

  1. Overview of New Servo Motor Parts Machining Factory
    • Investment: Approximately 12 billion yen (not including manufacturing equipment)
    • Total Floor Space: Approximately 55,200m² (three-story steel frame building)
    • Production Capacity:
      • Servo motor machined parts (mainly motor shafts, flanges) 150,000/month
      • Servo motor assembly (small-size motors, built-in brake units, encoders)
    • Scheduled Date of Completion: September, 2019
